Proudly supporting deployed service members since 1995.

what we do

Operation Military Pride is a volunteer organization with a wide range of activities-all of which are to boost the morale of our troops deployed overseas. We not only send cards, letters and care packages ourselves, but also distribute troop names and addresses to patriots wanting to send cards, letters or care packages directly to troops. We are one of the very few groups that allow direct contact with a service member, eliminating the “middle man” and expenses. We do not have a 501(c) 3 designation, but are in the process of completing the application.

We also offer public events, such as placing a banner on which everyone can write well wishes to the troops and then we mail the banner to a deployed unit. We usually have a table full of goodies for you as well.

who we support

To be very simple, If it wears a uniform or is support personnel for people in military uniforms and it is deployed overseas, WE SUPPORT IT!

We support every branch of the military, no matter where they are deployed. We support civilian service support staff. We also support the animals that deploy with our service men and women. Check out our Kindness to K9's campaign, also know as "Doggy Bags". We currently support over 23,000 service members who are deployed worldwide in the air, on land and at sea.

How You Can Get Involved

Just e-mail us and we’ll reply with a troop’s name and address; free of charge, of course.

perfect for schools, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts

This is the perfect way to make your children aware of what is going on in the world today! Supporting a service member is a great way to study geography, social studies, history, and world events. It also gives children an opportunity to write letters while raising the morale of one of our service members.

Be sure to check out Troops to Troops for our events with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

our history

Operation Military Pride was started in 1995 by military spouses who realized the importance of keeping the morale of deployed service members high.

Since that time we have supported hundreds of thousands of military personnel on deployment. Our Newsletter is distributed at least bi-weekly to over 11, 000 individuals and our numbers grow every day. Since our volunteers are mostly military spouses or prior miliary, we are able to provide support to the families and friends left at home as well.

Troops and Veterans agree that cards, letters and care packages really make a big difference when a troop is overseas. As difficult as serving in the Armed Forces may be, the worst part is being deployed. The extreme circumstances have made it impossible for the troops to access many items. Therefore care packages are more important than ever.
